On May 30th, Bahar Pourbabaee, Data Scientist, shared with a group of 30 female undergraduate students with different backgrounds in biomedical research, computer science and engineering about her experience with AI applications and challenges in healthcare industry as well as OMsignal smart sense wear and AI-based technology and products.
Bahar has introduced different AI and robotics applications and challenges in new healthcare ecosystem to explain about the positive impacts of AI in disease early detection, decision-making procedure, health conditions diagnosis and prognosis, end of life care, training and research purposes.
It is an honour to be one of the partners of such a great AI event in Montreal that brings a lot of opportunities to female students and helps to establish a more effective gender-equal culture in technology sector.
About AI for Social Good
The program brings together 30 female undergraduate students with different backgrounds in biomedical research, computer science and engineering. The program offers participants the chance to explore and expand their skills in machine learning, artificial intelligence technology, prototyping and design.
This program is an initiative of the OSMO Foundation, the Reasoning and Learning Lab at McGill University, the Montreal Institute for Learning Algorithms (MILA) and co-organised with DeepMind.
